Ko Kamino is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in painting, illustration and digital art. Ko’s work draws from folk imagery, personal experiences, and a unique twist on tattoo flash. With a strong focus on creating amoeba-like renditions of familiar forms, Ko's art offers insight into diverse forms of perception and experience.

Born in the USA and raised in Kirikiriroa, Ko was exposed to street art at a young age, which sparked his interest in line work and illustrative styles. After studying at The Elam School of Fine Arts, Ko began experimenting with a variety of mediums, using his pictorial language as a foundation for his work.

Ko's artwork is characterized by his use of vibrant colors and bold black lines which he skillfully blends to create his signature morphing characters. His paintings and digital designs feature a range of subjects that compose new pictorial beings and worlds.
