Evie Kemp is an artist and multidisciplinary creative based in Tamaki Makaurau. Evie's work centres around home and decoration, and applying colour and pattern to evoke joy and stimulate the senses. In this collaboration she is the "nice", wrapping Cobi Bosch's provocative ceramics in her distinctive surface design - a subconscious camouflaging of the sexual motifs. This is a reflection both of her own curse to always be the good girl, while also playfully embracing the connection and friendship between painter and potter. Opposites attract.
